In a certain “okolosportivnoy” environment there is a perception that morning exercise is not something that would be useful, but even harmful. In favor of this assumption, individual authors put forward very controversial and, frankly, very subjective arguments, which make no sense to list — all these conjectures and so-called “facts” were dictated by one but the only, but very strong property of human nature during close and honest consideration. .

Numerous studies have long proven that exercise improves and stimulates the work of all body systems. Morning physical exercises (or morning gymnastics, as it is sometimes called), being one of the forms of a person’s physical activity, is designed to awaken the body, bring it to a vigorous state and prepare for the stresses of the upcoming day. It “turns on” the body, reducing the time of transition from sleep to activity, improving the ratio of excitation and inhibition processes, regardless of the features of the nervous system – equally well acting on both the “larks” and the “owls.”
But still, some lovers of an active lifestyle refuse from morning exercises due to its incorrect understanding and, as a result, improper conduct. Many people mistakenly and primitively perceive charging as a thoughtless, monotonous, exhausting run (such an idea of ​​morning exercises exists, for example, in the power structures of individual commanders). Such an approach is categorically wrong and even harmful.

The range of techniques and actions used in the charge, much wider and more diverse. After all, you can perform a set of exercises not only on the street, but also at home, without even getting out of bed. Breathing exercises, dance movements to music, sets of exercises from the systems of martial arts, yoga, morning swimming, jogging – all this can be considered as morning physical exercises. What to choose for yourself is a purely personal matter, determined by the individual characteristics of the organism, inclinations and abilities, fitness level, season and actually free time, weather, mood, in the end. The main thing is that charging does not cause fatigue – otherwise the effect will be exactly the opposite of the task at hand – instead of a vigorous awakening, sluggish drowsiness for a whole day. But in any case, there are a number of common points that are recommended to be followed.

It is impossible to sharply, “out of bed”, to start running, jumping and vigorously breathing. It is necessary to give odds to the body 7-10 minutes after recovery – and forward, for vivacity and optimism. The duration of the charge itself varies, depending on the content, from 15 to 50 minutes. If according to the plan jogging in the morning forest + swimming in the river is no less than half an hour, but if waking up, stretching, bending down and squatting is 15 minutes enough. Do not forget about the powerful tempering effect of charging, carried out in the open air – the sun, water, air, combined with physical exercises work wonders. Once again I want to remind you of moderation and reasonableness when planning and conducting morning exercises. Morning exercise is not a workout. If you do not forget about it, a healthy mind, a healthy body and a positive attitude for the whole day are just guaranteed.
